It looks like...

I may not have everything done this week for my BFA portfolio. Trying to mix the different talismans together is a bit more difficult than I thought it would be. 😑
In truth I wanted to been done with them this week so I can send images of them off for a winter residency I want to apply to. But I think I'll just send a cluster image of them and name them as 'works in progress.'

I have a critique for Bookarts tomorrow. I have the majority of it done, I just need to bind my last stab/wire-bound hybrid.

I had a friend take me to walmart this Thursday and was able to get suede cord (black & brown), a dowel and some wooden caps. Since I'm  limiting the number of talismans and totems I'm going to be using, I thought I'd make a scroll (much like my codices) to actually connect them together. I decided not to add the wells, vessels, mullers, and palette I made. They just don't fit in this go round. But I can still post them somewhere, and use them! They are completely utilitarian. 😊😁

Tuesday is advising day! Which means a free work day for me since I already met with my advisor. 😁

I have a Painting critique on Thursday. These boxes have been a struggle for me. 😔 But I have been working on them here and there, and hopefully I can get them done on Tuesday. Or at least I'm going to be devoting most of my time to them on Tuesday.

I have a photomontage due Wednesday. Not looking forward to that. I really wished I dropped this class. I don't see it being useful. We really haven't learn the specifics of how to take a good pic or what makes a pic good. But that's kind of the dangers of studio classes, they want you to learn by doing but sometimes is helpful when things are explained.😒

But enough ragging. I need to get some sleep.
